Source of hope
Water is far more than a basic necessity: it is an essential right, a source of life, and a pillar of health and well-being. Yet, for many people living in the slums of Islamabad, access to clean and safe drinking water was long a daily struggle. They were forced to walk several kilometers every day to fetch water for household use, hygiene, food, or drinking. Children and teenagers carried heavy water containers even while fasting.
At Warm Hearts, we believe that access to clean drinking water should never be a privilege, but a fundamental right. It was this conviction that led to the implementation of the "Source of Hope" water well project, an initiative that now provides affected families with a sustainable and safe source of water and has fundamentally improved their living conditions.
Our successes
